We use SSO for the web portal however, Viewpoint support is telling us that the Mobile app is not compatible with SSO. This is a huge miss. What is the point in having SSO if it is not supported across the entire product? It makes the mobile app useless for SSO only customers.

We spent a good deal of time and thought converting everyone to Trimble SSO and moving to the cloud with Vista, FM and ProjectSight. After a couple weeks of trying to figure out why we couldn't access the FM mobile app, I was told this:
"At this time, OAuth is the only SSO option supported by the Field Management Mobile App."
So, even the Support folks expect this should work. I really want to convert to the mobile app. But I really don't want to go back to multiple logins. Do you think they will a) update the app and make us happy? or b) not update the app and therefore it will not really gain traction, then they will discontinue it for lack of use. I hope not b), but they are putting a lot of development time into other things right now so not holding my breath. But may I say: please please please! And thank you.
I totally agree that this is a huge issue. I shouldn't have to unlink my single sign-on in Vista Web just to be able to access the App to assist employees who are having issues. Please make the mobile app compatible with SSO
This was the exact quote I received from support on this:
"SSO cannot be used with the mobile app. You can have users use the browser based version on mobile with Login Mode 4."
