As we review time entered weekly in Timecard Approval or Timecard Dashboard, many of our users sort by last name to find employees faster and then drill into a user's timecard. Once reviewed, the manager will either press the 'back' button or approve the timecard to get back to the Timecard Approval page, but that page never remembers how it was sorted or what page of employees he was on, so he has to search through the pages to get back to where he was. If the portal was able to remember sort settings (either by user or be set overall to be by last name) and return a user to the same page when getting done with a timecard, it would save our managers some headaches.

Commenting and voting to get this up. I despise having to approve and/or review and once you click the back button it deletes your most recent sort order. Very frustrating! One easy option is Viewpoint makes it that a NEW internet tab opens when you click on a name. This will keep the Dashbaord window open with the current sort settings, and allow to examine the selected time card in the new tab.
Related - removing columns is not remembered. I remove columns that are less important when reviewing Submitted and Approved employees. Once I click into an employee, then return to the main screen, all the columns are now back. Very frustrating.
