We send out Daily Safety Tips to all of our employees. We want that email to hit their inboxes each morning before 6am, but not be sent out before the previous day has ended. Right now, how we do that is we go to the Group Messaging feature between midnight and 5am each work morning and send that out. If we forget to either wake up early (5am) or stay up late (after midnight), it cannot get sent out when needed.
Scheduling these messages ahead of time would solve this problem as we would be able to plot out these messages during work hours and set them so that they send out automatically around 5am each work morning. We could plan ahead and make sure that messages are scheduled during times when that employee is out on vacation. We could also make sure to have special messages planned for holidays or seasonal tips. This feature would make our work on this front infinitely easier than it is now.

This feature is still not what a scheduler should be. There is no way for users to see what has already been scheduled. Users also cannot go back and edit a message between scheduling and when it sends. What if a new detail needs to be added to a message, or the whole thing needs to be deleted before being sent? With these issues present, there is not much use with the current function.
Update: This feature is not working. My messages send the moment I click the 'Schedule" button, regardless of what time I have it set to actually send. Putting in a ticket to ClearView to see what is going on.
You bet we have word on it, its shipped! Once your portal is updated, you can schedule the sending. We also added sms messaging via twillio if needed. Enjoy!

To piggy back on this idea I would like to see a couple things, scheduled paystub notifiers and scheduled paystub emails. Right now we have to manually come into Vista and hit the paystub send and then come into Viewpoint one to hit the paystub notifier send. It would be nice to automate it all, we run into the same problem as Kimber does with missing the window of opportunity :)
Any movement on this feature? Have not seen any updates to this since its initial posting close to a month ago.
