Our users are creating all POs in the Pending PO portal module, but for electrical quotes, the unit pricing is often quoted with more digits after the decimal point than the portal can handle. For example, 4860 units at $1.83246 can only be entered as 1.8324, causing the PO totals to be off. It appears to allow the "6" at the end of the unit cost but once the record is saved, it auto-corrects it to 1.8324. The user then corrects the PO unit cost in Vista, which is unnecessary extra work. In the PO Pending Purchase Order program in Vista, the UC can be entered as the full amount of 1.83246.
The digits allowed after the decimal point should match what is allowed in Vista. I do not see any option in the portal settings to extend the number of digits after the decimal point.
Another option that is available in Vista but not the portal is to select E,C,M on the PO Item. This is available in the portal Create PO module as well as the Vista PO Pending Purchase Order, but not in the portal Pending PO. A ticket submitted to Viewpoint Customer Support indicated the ECM option in the portal's Pending PO module was not available "by design" (Case: 31274381).

I vote yes to extending out past the decimal to match Vista.
