Customizable Default Date Range Window

For places like Manage Training, Checklists, Daily Reports, and the Time Off Dashboard, there is a date range that can be changed to filter results. During a single session, the date range selected will be stored, but between sessions these date range filters return to their default values. 

An improvement would be to add options under Portal Settings to customize the default range for these date filters. It would be great to be able to set the default to -30 days, -60 days, - 365 days, etc., and every time one visits a particular module in the portal, the date range is already set to the customized default window.

    Hi Thomas,

    It will be easier to add this suggestion into our product if you split this suggestion so there is a separate suggestion per page. Can you split this into the default data ranges you want to be able to set? You can rename this one be the Manage Training page date range default.

    Then can you post those links here so everyone can vote on those too?

    Yes please - this would be very helpful for Manage Training. I would really prefer for this to default to all non-expired training, regardless of the date. If it's still good, why would I not want it to automatically show in the grid? I have fielded a number of calls from people saying, "I don't see the training," only because the didn't know to change the default date setting.

    Michael - I'll chime in on priority order of pages for this request:

    1. Manage Training
    2. Time Off Dashboard
    3. Checklists
    4. Daily Reports

    Assigned priority based on primary users and frequency of use.  Thanks!
