For example, we offer voluntary life to our employees. They can select coverage for Employees, Spouses and Children. They each have their own Benefit Code, but are part of the same Benefit Type (V Live). The way the portal is set up, you can only select one option per Benefit Code, and one Benefit Code per Benefit Type.
This is also an issue with 401k. An eligible employee is not able to select their regular employee contribution AND select catch-up contributions.
I understand the work-around is to set up individual Benefit Types for each item but that's definitely not the most clean and simple way to do it. There should be a way in portal settings to allow multiple selections for certain Benefit Types.
