We always create a new HR record in Vista before we initialize new employees thru the Onboarding process in HR Management. We do this to lock in an Employee number and use Onboarding process to update the information from the New Hire. We have found that this process does not populate / update the Hire date in Vista and recently found it is designed to update the Most recent rehire date which is not available to US customers. If this process could update the Hire Date or give us an option to update the Hire date in HR resource and PR Employee this would be very helpful to our payroll and HR setups.

Hello, I vote in favor of updating Vista to automatically update a new hire or re-hire date to visibly been seen on both the employment history tab and the payroll tab to be in sync for various reasons. Thank you, Victoria Lawrance
