In the grid timecard, the field personnel have to know the job, phase, and field ticket to do their timecard. When a field ticket is created, a user has to associate the field ticket with a job and phase. Why have the field personnel enter that information again in the timecard? They should just have to enter the field ticket number and let the system populate the job/phase in timecard entry batch.

Our Tech Services team could create a custom lookup for your timecards to accomplish this. If you log in to the Customer Portal and submit a support ticket for this we can work with you to scope out your exact needs.
If they didn't have to enter job/phase, they would enter the field ticket first 100% of the time.

This might be possible with some custom logic in some udlookups and then changing the dependency of the fields in Grid Timecard Settings. How often would your users enter in the timecard line y entering the Field Ticket first?
