We have our reimbursement expenses processing through Payroll and our Credit Card expenses going through AP. When a user selects their expenses to group code, they do not have the option to code to a GL, just an earn code.
It also means they cannot code credit cards prior to matching an imported transaction.

we have a workaround for this problem. We set up a JC Department called "GL", and a Job called "GL".
In the JC Department, we use the Phase Override tab to enter phases that mirror and point to GL codes.
Then in JC Job Phases, we add the Cost Type that we set up for reimbursements to each phase.
In PR Timecard entry, Job is GL and Phase is the same as the GL Code. And it is a different Earn Code than actual time.
