We have a large amount of employees who use company vehicles everyday so it would save time to have the truck # (equipment type) defaulted on that employees row on the Grid Timecard. This would not only save time but would prevent them from entering the wrong equipment type as well.

There's a feature in PR Employees > Add'l Info tab where you can specify a piece of equipment to automatically code the equipment to the same project time as the employee. Job/phase/hours will match the equipment. Attachments to the equipment can automatically pull in. We use this for employees that have a truck and their truck is coded exactly like there employee time.

How are your users entering in grid timecard lines today? We have an employee default option on new timecard lines and on copied timecard lines in Employee Tools > Grid Timecard Settings > New Line Behavior set to Employee Default.
