HR completes a review of all performance appraisals before they are considered finalized. The online process would be greatly streamlined if those assigned to the Performance Review Admin group could complete the online finalization (and save Managers time by not having to back in to finalize). This will also ensure all reviews are sent out to employee at the same time (very important in our organization).

It would also be very helpful if those assigned to the Performance Review Administration Group could have "editing" rights to the review. Often we have to correct small errors in grammar, or remove statements that should not be in a performance appraisal and it would streamline the process if we could have the ability to edit the manager comments.
Currently, all appraisals are done mangually (not online). Employee reviews are triggered by HR with a request that Managers complete appraisals. Managers will complete the review and submit to HR for review and comment, along with wage increase requests. Suggestions for amendments are made, if necessary. Once the review is approved by HR, the review is sent back to the manger to present to the employee (along with wage increase notifications). Wage increase requests are processed and approved reviews are uploaded to Vista.
We woud llike the HR approval to act as the Finalization of the Review. Having this at the HR level ensures that all employees receive notification of their approved review at the same time.
