If an approver rejects the time charged to the job it not only reject the time for that job but that employees entire timecard. So if the employee had time on 3-5 different approvers' jobs not only does the entire card have to be resubmitted but everyone who already approved time has to go back and re-approve. We changed the portal settings so that when a PM rejects the time it does not unsubmit the timecard but this has its own issues because then that PM cannot go back and re-approve until the timecard has been unsubmitted and resubmitted which brings us to the same issue with all of the card having to be re-approved by all approvers.

I am not sure what you mean by this���how does the reject reason affect the ability to reject ?

Hi Rhonda,
It is common for customers that do not want to all their Job Approvers to reject the timecards, to prevent this from happening by putting a dummy Reason code in the "Reason Codes to include in Job Approval Rejection (leave blank for all or comma separated)" portal setting. This will make it so rejects can't happen in the portal and the Job Approvers can just make the edits they need to for the timecard before approving.
