We have found that in the employee portal Update Personal info section, that the values are currently being stored on the W-4. In the event that someone would need to adjust their allowances this is particularly helpful to see the previous values so that they may adjust accurately. However, for the additional withholding forms that are listed right below the W-4 for State Withholdings (ie: AZ, NY) these values are currently not being stored. This then requires payroll to extract the copy from the PR Employee record and send ato the employee for varification so that they can then update their withholding accordingly. We would find it extremely helpful for this field to store the values that are entered just as the W-4 is currently doing.
