Having the ability to suppress additional Cost Type lines for each Phase Code in the dropdown menu of Progress Entry (and entering only to the "root Phase Code"), would help to simplify input and eliminate repetitive entries. Additionally, having the quantities then automatically update all associated Cost Types (with the exclusion of Subcontracts) when the batch is posted in JC Progress Entry, would provide necessary detail without having to manually input for each Cost Type.

We have implemented a work around by creating a cost type for progress entry. Add the progress entry cost type to all phases you would like to track with the correct units of measure and then use the admin function to limit the progress entry to only the cost type you want to see.
