Including access to add/edit/delete custom reports in portals for Named Login users via the Employee Tools > Manage Reports utility would save a lot of admin time. Currently Named Login admin-only users must schedule to work with portal admins with Manage Report access to update or add custom reports. With SSRS custom report access based on data sources using the credentials of the user running the report, PII should not be an issue. The goal is to make adding and updating custom reports in portals less labor and time intensive by granting Named Users the access.

Hey Mark, Emcor has 15 or so operating companies. Each have their own Vista/Portal servers for both Prod and Test. Brian Bob and myself operate at a corporate level managing each Portal/Vista server for each of the companies. Obviously we can't be in everyone's PR. It doesn't make sense to force admins to be PR Employees of a given instance. A new type of user account is required hence this request. Brian correct me if I'm wrong.
Hey Bob and Brian,
The Named Login user was originally created for consultants who won't be in a customers PR Employees in Vista so they needed another type of login. Who are the main kinds of Named Login users that are logging into your portals?
Thank you
We need this ASAP. Having to go through IT admins is very inefficient. Unlike Vista's Report Module, adding and managing reports in the portal is very time consuming and should not be this difficult.
Having Named Login users setup custom reports will save our non-IT admins a lot of time. That applies during implementations and in day to day ops.
