Allows foremen to determine when per diem applies to a workday. This still needs to go through the normal approval process to insure proper accounting.

Have you tried adding a per diem checkbox on the row section of the grid timecard or using a per diem earncode?
This is currently how most customers are tracking this. If the per diem can be automatically added based on set criteria that lives in Vista, the per diem timecard lines could be generated automatically via a tech services customization in Vista.
