Our managers are submitting time via the grid timecard and I would like the software to just automatically bring up the time worked grid when the employees name is selected to a new row. Right now we are having to basically fake a line to click the clock button and bring up time worked. I just want the time to pop up automatically.

Are you currently using the "Enable full time worked editing on Grid Timecard page outside of modal window" portal setting?
This will allow the grid timecard to show the full Time Worked grid once you have selected a single employee in the Grid Timecard Employee filter in the header.
