Right now, If you make a change in the payroll record it pushes to AP vendor master if the two accounts are linked. But if the change is made in the HR Management Portal the info pushes to the payroll record but does not get pushed to the AP Vendor record, causing the AP vendor contact and direct deposit info to be out of date.

That was the missing item. The checkbox made it work.
Keely - if it isn't working at all for you, double check that you have the portal setting turned on. Push personal info updates to AP Vendor record if account is linked.
I've also tested it out, making changes in the HR portal and approving in Viewpoint. Changes do not appear to push across to AP yet. I confirmed we're on the most recent version.
Portal Version: 1.25.12.586
Vista Version: 25.12.0
Thanks for the comment Jon, let me look into this and get back to you!
When this is pushed from Vista Web to PR to AP, in PR it makes the EFT active and able to be used, but in AP it does not change the pay method to EFT nor does it make it active. Since you're pushing it to both sides, it would make more sense to me to have it active and usable on both sides without human intervention. That's the entire purpose of this in the first place.
Is this automatic or is there some setup? I checked the Viewpoint notes from .8 and I didn't see this mentioned.
Thanks Kellie!
Hello! This was included in our .8 release back in August of 2025.
Status is Shipped (YAY!)
When will this get applied?
Thank you Kellie! This is just one more thing that our payroll department has to keep up with manually that could easily be done automatically.
That makes sense Doug. Seems like when it went from 50 to 49 it removed your vote and then you re added it.
I voted and it didn't seem to increase the vote past 50 but if I click on it again, it goes down to 49. Maybe I have voted for it before? This only seems like a common sense idea and not sure why we have to vote on it.
Hey Jon, I'm bringing this suggestion into our next review meeting.
If we have any questions/concerns for users I'll put them in this comment section.
Trimble? Viewpoint? Anyone please? 50 votes and going on FIVE years....
Any progress on this one?
Anyone? I can verify this is still the default behavior. It's been almost four years. What's the other suggestion that's basically identical?
Made changes in the Portal, after approval it pushes to HR and PR, but not AP -- Needed ASAP!
Yesterday, Come on already! (=
Update only works from Payroll. Any ETA on this getting fixed?
Made changes to PR info in PR – upon saving it pushes to AP (good)
Made changes to HR info in HR – upon saving it goes to PR, but not AP
Made changes in the Portal, after approval it pushes to HR and PR, but not AP
There's a second suggestion that's basically identical to this one. Combined the votes are doubled.
