Our field employees routinely work under different classes. For example they may have a default class of 495, but on this day they worked as class 500.
Currently if employee worked on just one class, but different than the default class you do the following to select a new class:
In timecard screen click on Employee cell on left side (see image)
This opens up a window where you then click "Edit Line Details" (see image)
The "Edit Shift / Class" window opens and then you click the class cell (see image)
The user then selects the new class.
Clicks Save and now new class is in place.
This seems to be a lot of steps.
I propose the following:
In timecard screen click in the Employee cell, but on the class (see image). This means the cell has to have touch enabled based on the section of the cell. In this case on the class.
This takes you right to the class search screen where you pick class and return back to the timecard screen with the new class.
This is 2 quick steps.
The above was ONLY if you needed to change the class and the employee only works on one class. Now in regards to ADDING the employee again with a new class I will open a new suggestion for this.
