The same users that enter in our labor / equipment / production are the same ones that would enter data on Field Tickets.
Although some parts of field tickets are already a part of other areas like the PR Time cards section or equipment usage section.
Regardless of this... having the field tickets as a part of the mobile app will help keep these data entry folks all in the same app for all data entry needs.
They can go to a Field Tickets section and enter in all the same things they could on web portal, but only in APP. Of course any portal settings needed to control this would be added to control functionality.
So for us the foreman could enter, Labor, Equipment and Production (Progress Entry) through the normal FMM timecard screen, but could then enter in all of the other data like daily diary, activities, folks on job and so on within the Field Ticket.
As to what to do with PR, PREQ and PROG sections of field tickets... these could be there as well. Just another methodology for getting in Labor / Equipment and Progress Entry.
This give a company different options for getting that data in.
For us we would use the existing FMM Timecard and then use Field Tickets for the other needs.
