The foreman enters 9.25 hours as we allow for 1/4 hour increments. What he sees after entering the time is 8.3. The total also reflects 8.3 which is not the correct value. Behind the scenes it looks like the value is correct, but on the screen it displays to one decimal and rounded. It does seem to account for 2 digits to the left of the decimal.
I understand the circle symbol is used which only fits the 2 digits with one decimal place. Some ideas:
Make symbol a rectangle that can expand to two decimal places to hold maximum of xx.xx and the rectangle can either be fixed size to hold this or adjust wider or narrower based on value.
Or leave symbol as circle, but make larger to handle xx.xx
Have a portal setting asking if one decimal (with rounding) or two decimal places.
Although we desire the above we should at the MINIMUM make sure the Totals come to the exact number and not be rounded.
Attached image shows example.
