For jobs or trailers that have 100s of vehicles, equipment or tools onsite/in inventory, there are multiple pages displayed on the Equipment Dashboard. As the field employee surveys the jobsite or trailer for inventory, equipment is not in asset tag order. Since that is the only available sort on the Equipment Dashboard, the employee has to scroll through pages or use the search bar to find the next item to "transfer." Because checkmarks do not "hold" when scrolling or using search, he has to transfer items one at a time, which is very time intensive.
(A mitigating concession would be to split the Equipment Code and the Equipment Description to separate columns on the Equipment Dashboard. At least then the employee would be able to sort by description to group like items together. See separate suggestion.)
(And yes we are using categories, which are helpful to manage V&E overall, but not as helpful at the job/trailer level as they might have 100s of items in a category as is the case with small tools.)

We currently use Tool Watch due to the lack of this capability. Would be nice if Viewpoint could provide this.
This same behavior exists on Purchasing Agent Dashboard. We must be able to hold checkmarks in items as we scroll through the pages. While not a showstopper here, it is a showstopper in Purchasing. See Case # 30583573.
