Company Announcement on Homepage

Can it be an option to have the Company Announcement box at the top of the homepage v. at the bottom? A lot of people are missing important announcements because their Hot List supersedes the CA box in the visual order and they don't scroll down far enough to be able to see what's there.

If not can a banner appear at the top of the page when new announcements are posted to at least draw attention so they scroll down to look?

    I was actually about to post this. I can agree that if it is important, it can be a Document that can be acknowledged but that's not for every case. Ability to pin it at the top give's greater visibility to the announcement. The other side of this was to allow the color and font to be changeable. If the Announcements were at the top then the ability to edit the body only would make more sense if the Announcements were more visible.

    Kellie - this is another item we talked about. Looks like some others are running into the same issue - employees missing announcements and having to use acknowledgment instead.

    Please implement this!!

    We don't want to have to use Documents as a work-around. Announcements are just that, and we don't want everyone having to sign or acknowledge receipt. Plus, it says they have documents that require their attention but doesn't have the same layout with thumbnails like the CA, so that needs to be at the top of the page!

    Having the Company Announcement box at the top of the homepage is more efficient.

    Hello Mark. Thanks for the idea to use the documents feature. We are already using that feature for some of the important items that require action from the various employees and it's working out very well.
    We will consider using that as a temporary solution until this option is added to a future release. Thanks for your input.

    If these announcements must be seen by your employees, have you considered making them Documents that need to be acknowledged instead of Company Announcements?
