Once time is finalized & confirmed, time in Job Time Approval disappears from that screen entirely and a reviewer can not see a history of what they approved. I had a reviewer ask me to see what he approved the week prior and I can't even provide that information to him as a Timecard Admin. The best way I can get this information to him is to pull a Timecard Entry Report from Vista filtered to his job for the given pay period, but even that only shows what got entered into Vista, not approved (i.e. time could have been direct entered into Vista after he approved). The only reports I can provide in Keystyle are individual's timecards that show who approved them, but even then, I have to research who all was on the job for this reviewer and pull those all out individually.
A reviewer should simply just be able to select prior pay periods from a dropdown list in Job Time Approval and see a very similar version of this screen that is just a viewable history of what they approved here without having to have me go through multiple steps to get them this information.

Hi Brooke,
This was added in our March portal release. If your portal is on the version 1.22.3, you should see this functionality. This change will only impact the Job Approval page.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Has the option to go back see(read only) past approvals/periods been added? I am still not seeing that option. Would this option also include to run the PDF report like you would be able to in each individuals timecard?
Hi Rhonda,
Once Payroll is processed, the timecard lines in Job Approval will be read only without the option to approve or reject those timecards. If you would like an approval after payroll has been processed, can you create a new suggestion for that?
Thank you
Will this apply to job time approvals as well?
Any hope that there may be an option coming where the supervisor can approve time after the fact.
We have issues when the supervisor is on leave and cannot approve so in those cases I have to download PDFs of all the timecards for them to manually approve. Would be nice if they could go in after the payroll is processed and approve.

We had a similar challenge with line item approval. We changed our internal workflow so that the Foreman or job site Superintendents are responsible to approve each line item on their job and they do this Monday morning by 10am. Then, they leave it, the Project Manager then goes in job by job and reviews ultimately hitting Finalize and Confirm. Maybe something like this could help in the interim
Hi Claire,
The Finalize and Confirm button will Finalize any timecards the logged in user shows in the Job Approval grid if they are Approved or Rejected regardless of the user that approved them. This is by design so Job Approvers can Finalize timecards that have been approved by other Job Approvers. With the current change we are working on, Job Approvers will be able to see Job Time after it's been approved in a read only state.
If you need your Job Approvers to only be able to Finalize timecards they have approved, that would be a separate enhancement. Can you create a suggestion for this if it doesn't already exist?
Thank you
Has Job Approval been fixed to allow approvers to approve and wait to Finalize? Currently if one job approver (A) approves their lines and those lines are visible in another job approver's (B) queue, if approver B clicks Finalize it will finalize all lines that are approved/rejected by approver A and approver B, not just the lines that were approved by approver B.
Hi Team,
We are currently working on this item which will allow Job Approvers to see timecards after they have been approved and processed. We won't allow job approvers to modify these lines after they have finalized approval. Timecard Admins could unsubmit these timecards from the Timecard Dashboard and then resubmit them as a work around. If it's common to that the Job Approvers Finalize time and need to make changes, I would recommend they use the approve button, but wait to finalize the timecards until they are sure they are correct.
Thanks for following up!
Has there been an update on this? I am repeatably asked to pull timecards that have already been processed. Sometimes an approver is out so the timecard gets processed without being approved so people need to be able to see time from the past
I agree that this is really needed. People ask me to see time they approved and I have nothing to dive them
Is there an update on whether this is even being considered? It is still an incredibly disruptive issue for us and this would be a critical improvement to our process. Reviewers should also be able to 'undo' their Finalize & Confirm step here prior to the batch being posted in Vista. Sometimes they think of a change after approval (but prior to the batch being posted...when a change in Keystyle should still be feasible) and it can only be done on the Vista side by the payroll department at that point.
