When site staff are entering a purchase order they do not always know which Vista Company their job is in - But they do know the Job Number. It would be beneficial if the Job field was not dependent on the Company field already being filled out.

Hello Mark, this is a 1.5 year late response here but yes we do have the "Restrict Companies on PO Items to match the Header POCo"
We have multiple companies listed for the Lookup - The problem is that our users still need to know their Company when creating a PO and they don't want to have to do that.

Do you currently have the "Restrict companies (JCCo, EMCo, etc.) on PO Items to match the header POCo" portal setting enabled?
Which companies do you have listed in the "Enabled JCCo for lookups (comma separated)" and "Enabled PO Companies (comma separated)" settings?

Currently they are entering it at the Pending PO Header. I've attached a screenshot - The company defaults to 1 and a user who doesn't know the company would try to enter a job (30528 in this case) and is informed 'No Job'

Are your users typically selecting a Job in the Pending PO header or are they selecting jobs on the Pending PO lines? Can you attach a screenshot of where your users are running into this the most?

~800 Total - If the Job Field in New Pending PO worked the same as the Job field in the PO Quick Create form that would be perfect. With the caveat that the Company Field would need to auto update based on the selected job.
