This seems like new behavior but maybe we're just noticing it. When the portal sits idle for so long, it logs the user out but it remains on the last active page. It appears that the user still has a live connection. It's not until the user goes to navigate away from the page or save his work (e.g. checklists) that it returns the user to the login screen (AND lost the work).
