On the FM Mobile app, you don't select a user when entering in equipment, but there will be one auto assigned once those values are submitted and saved to the server. What're you trying to do?

I am not entirely sure you understand what I am asking. On the iPad app, equipment goes to a ���dummy��� employee 9999. Why do you need to have an actual employee with zero hours, not just a time card with equipment all going to employee 9999?

Yes, because all of our EQ usage goes through payroll, it requires an employee on those timecard lines even though labor hours can be 0.

There are customizations our Professional Services team can do that will take Field Ticket equipment usage and push it through EM in Vista. Would this be helpful?

So there still has to be an employee on the timecard (on the app) but they need to put in zero hours, then put in the equipment usage? There isn���t a way to just have equipment on a timecard?

Hey Theresa,

It looks like you can have employees submit timecards with 0 labor hours and equipment today. This will show up in Job Approval if you are showing Usage Units on the Job Approval page.

Do you mainly need this for Job Approval?
