There are cases where we do not want field team members to have access to time entry etc but the default profile is an all or nothing setting. So, any new hires need to be set up individually. If there was a way to set a template for employees we could manage access on a more granular level.

Your company routes current employees through the Onboarding process when they are promoted?

They could be defaulted based on their starting position. If they got promoted there may be a chance that their permissions would change and would need to be updated by an Onboarding or Security Admin.

Would these ever need to be changed by the Onboarding Admins? Or could they always be defaulted based on the Onboarding Profile for those new hires?
