There are 2 alternative ways to approve timecards: Job Time Approval (which is what we use) and Timecard Approval". Since we don't use "Timecard Approval", we need it to be suppressed from the "Approval" dropdown in the black ribbon at the top of Keystyle. It is highly confusing and our employees see the word "Timecard" and it makes sense for them to click on it, only for them to be taken to the wrong place. Then they either get frustrated and never approve timecards, or they bother someone in the company. It should be dummy-proof. There should be a portal setting to hide it (or conversely, Job Time Approval) from the dropdown.

Same need in our end. We do not want the users to get confused on the menu, we want them to see only what they need to see. +1!
For timecard approval, our users get a red number (meaning there are that many things to approve). For Job Time Approval, it's never been a number, but instead a flag I believe. It's a little odd that one has a count and the other is a flag.
Our users do not need to do anything in Timecard approval for us to successfully use Job Time Approval. No function is impaired by it's presence. It's just confusing for me to tell users to skip past that "first thing that says Timecard Approval with a number by it, and go to the other one". They ask me why it's even there, and it's because Keystyle hasn't figured out how to suppress it. Timecard Approval and Job Time Approval should be mutually exclusive, and they are not. If I'm wrong about that, I should at least be able to suppress it if we aren't using it.
I'd love to Webex with you on my other issue that you commented on. I think we're not on the same page and I could show you that Manage Hotlist issue much more efficiently than try to explain it over comments.
Hi Matt,
I commented on your other item too, but I wanted to get some clarity on this item. Are your users getting the red notification on Timecard Approval showing that they have things to approve? Or are they only getting that red notification for Job Time Approval:?
Thanks!
