Some fields are required but don't vary (such am EMCo, SMCostCode) It would be helpful if the Grid Timecard Settings allowed for hard coding a field if it will never vary. That way the field could be hidden and reduce then # of entries workers need to make.

If these values will truly never vary, we you can do the following and these values will hardcode to Vista defaults when saved:
Hide EMCo from your Grid Timecard Layout - This will save the PR Employee default EMCo to Vista.
For SM Cost Type, we have the "Default SM Cost Type if not shown" portal setting. - This will allow you to not show the SM Cost Type on your grid timecard layout.
