Rejected timecard and approval history still only shows "Submission - Pending" after the rejection is done. Reject notes should be kept on the review records to make sure the proper issue was fixed. The rejection memo is only shown in the portal for the entry person through email.
The mouse tip needs to include better detail for the status of the line item(s) in the timecard approval grid.

After opening a support case for the example directly below it appears that the rejection notes aren't showing because we have the setting to unsubmit the timecard upon rejection. This is an important feature to us as it saves the field from performing the step themselves. However, the history of what happens on a timecard is equally as important. The rejection should always be part of the history of that record.
John Doe Submitted his timecard
John Smith rejected (and unsubmitted) the timecard because of reasons XYZ
John Doe made the correction and resubmitted the timecard fixing XYZ
John Smith approved
Ideally, we still get to see the history of what took place on the timecard. OR, at the least see the rejection notes until the correction has been made and the timecard is resubmitted.

See this example. The time was rejected and we see the information in the email notification. However, in the portal under the rejection details, everything remains blank.

Mark, that fixed it. So we can see the job approval column in the dashboard (#4 below).

We do have the Job Approval approval status available on the Timecard Dashboard. If you're not seeing this on your Timecard Dashboard, you may need to make sure you have the Job Approval columns on the Timecard Dashboard (click the ellipsis on any of the column headers to modify the columns you want to see on the grid) for each of your users.

Once we reject (either through the timecard approval OR through Job Time Approval) it is not reflected in the 'History'. It should be reflected there.
If we reject a single employee line through Job Time Approval that is not reflected in the Timecard approval grid for that employee.

Job time approval isn't included in the timecard dashboard so it has to be reviewed through the Timecard Approval grid.
