2020 R12 release of the Portal included the ability for admins to see the Emergency Contacts of employees they are given permissions to in Approval Permissions.
Access to personal information for the employee, such as a phone number as a first priority, email and home address really needed to come first. Our managers and supervisors don't have access to PR Employees or HR Resource Master in Vista.
Keeping employee contact details up to date and available to these key people is a never ending task. It's not unusual to need to send an email or text message to 15 -20 people when an employee changes their phone number or email address.
Even a tick box for information that is available would be handy. i.e. one group might only have access to employee name and mobile (cell) number, while a senior group might have access to mobile, email and address.
We did have an app but that is no longer supported and having employees current contact details available "live" needs to be a priority.
