Have the ability to see who has downloaded their w-2

This would give the employer the information they need in regards to an employee receiving their W-2 or not.

    Hi Billy,

Since this is a very specific request, I'd like to see how the rest of the Viewpoint community thinks about this before our development teams reviews this.

    Thanks for adding this!

Right, we understand that. We are still left witout an option to find what we need. We need to know WHICH employees HAVE or HAVE NOT downloaded their W-2. Just because someone has logged into the portal or electronically consented, we have no way of knowing if they actually downloaded it or not. I have discussed with Viewpoint support as well to see if the developers/programmers could find out this information within SQL as well, but they said it couldn't be done.

Yes that is correct. If users have consented to paperless consent, they can login to the portal to view their W-2 and you won't need to send them a copy of the W-2. You can also use the Paystub Tools in the portal to download the W-2's for any user that is opted out of the Paperless Consent.

Yes we do, but this will only inform us that they have or have not consented correct? We are needing to know which employees have not downloaded by X date where we can manually send them by mail.

    Thanks,

    Billy

    Hi Billy,

Do you currently have the paperless consent option enabled in the portal? This will allow your employees to opt in or opt out of electronic delivery for W-2's.

    Thank you,
