When enabling the Time Worked feature in HR Timecards, exclusions can be made for Pay Types and Earn Codes. We would like an additional option to exclude by Craft. For example, in our CA office, the Time Worked feature is enabled for service technicians to enter start/stop times. We would like to exclude our salaried project management staff from the Time Worked entry requirement but have no way to do that. Adding an option to exclude by the Craft would enable this to work.

Employees that use a Salary earncode can still charge specific hours to multiple projects. Are you currently using PR Salary Distribution in Vista?
Here's a help KB if you are not familiar: https://cdnedge.viewpointcs.com/help/Production/vista/2020_R2/Default.htm
Most of our customers are using this for salary employees and then they have that salary earncode excluded form time worked.
Hi Mark,
We do not have a separate PR Group or Earncode for Project Mangement salary employees. They are set up as hourly in order to charge hours to multiple project numbers they are working on.
Hey Tracy,
Usually customers use a separate PR Group or Earncode in order to disable the Time Worked validation. Do your salaried Project Managers have a salary earncode?
Thanks!
