When an applicant applies for a position or an onboardee submits their forms an email notification is sent to our HR group. It would be nice to also have an alert/notification for the HR admins when they login to the employee portal. There is not currently a way to setup alerts in the portal.

Yes, any brand new applicant would display a flag. If a user who logs in has access to the new hire via the Hiring Location, they would be shown a flag that indicating there is a new applicant. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hi Peter,
For submitted status, I was only referring to to the Onboarding/New Hire status. Our ATS is a little more complex since you can setup your own stages per Job Template. Would you like any "brand new" applicants (or applicants that are in the first stage) to also display a flag?

I believe that would work to have it based on the logged in users access to the new hire as well as have it be based on the submitted status. Can you confirm the submitted status changes when an applicant applies for a posted position? Also does the submitted status change when an onboardee submits their forms?

Would you want this to based on the logged in users access to the new hire via the Hiring Location permissions?

Yes, I was thinking something like the Performance Reviews where you are alerted if a performance review needs to be filled out on the dashboard when you are logged in. Also in the attachment below you can see a red "1" next to field tools letting me know there is a issue attached to a project I am on. It would be nice to have something like this when applicants apply for positions or onboarding forms are submitted. Let me know if this clarifies at all?
