Seeing reports mid week is not adequate, our supervisors need to be able to modify time entries to do things like change the phase that hours are assigned to, split time across jobs, and change or split trade classifications. To try to make all of these adjustments a week after the fact and in a very narrow window before payroll needs to be processed is not practical.

    Hi Gina,

Since this would require a significant change to the timecard submission process, I'd like to see how the rest of the community feels about this enhancement before reviewing with our development team.

    Thank you

They want the PM's and Supervisors to be able to review and make corrections to time on a daily basis instead of waiting until the end of the week since there are too many employees to handle that way. They are using the clock in/out feature.

    Hi Gina,

Adding this as a suggestion is definitely the right way to go, but I'm just trying to understand more about your needs. Submitting a timecard is troublesome, I think a custom report for the PM's and Supervisors so they can see the unsubmitted timecard lines sitting in the PR Timecard Entry batch is their best option right now.

    Thanks!

    Mark,

They want the ability for their PM’s and Supervisors to look at the Job time throughout the week and we cannot submit on a daily basis. They want to use the clock in/out process.

Please talk to Colin Griffin about this. He is the one that suggested they enter this request.

    Hi Christine,

We currently have the option to automatically create unsubmitted timecard lines for the standard timecard on clock-out or a way to have an admin generate submitted standard timecard lines at the end of the pay period. What timecards are your users using? Why do you want the timecard lines to be submitted?

    Thanks!
