With the crew copy or copy line feature we have struggled with the earn code copying to the employee of the original line item instead of defaulting to the employee default the way that craft and class does. Is there a plan to make the earn code have the same behavior as craft/class?

I think this should extend to fields beyond earn code. For example, if we set up a field for PR Department (to allow charging to different depts), the employee's default department should populate - not necessarily what was on the copied line.
If the "New Line Behavior" in Grid Timecard Settings is set to "Employee Default", then that field should be populated with the employee's default info on a Crew Copy or Line Copy.
We would always want it to copy in the employee default for earn codes. The way craft and class works. We have different earn codes in every single crew/timecard we create (differing between salary and hourly). Thank you!

When copying a timecard line across your crews, how often do the earn codes differ? Would you ever want to copy the earncode on the timecard line you are copying or would you always want it to copy in the employees default?
