We currently are working a major infrastructure project in a joint venture. Due to this we have employees reporting to managers not within our company. But in order to set them up as an approver of timesheets & time off we have to add them as employees.

In the past we were able to add them in & then mark them inactive.
Is this still possible? Or do they have to be active in order to approve?

They would still need to be an employee in the system. This isn't something we plan on changing in the foreseeable future, but you can add these subcontractors to a different PRCo in Vista so they aren't in your production PR Company. I'd like to see this enhancements get more votes from the community before we seriously consider it.

What is they had a VA user ID?
