Many of our employees finish work at 16:00. We don't want to be contacting our employees an hour or more after they finish work so we have the unsubmitted timecard reminder set at 16 (16:00).
The system checks at 16:00 to see who needs the reminder, but the email doesn't run until 16:15. In that time many of our employees have completed and submitted their timecard for the week and then they receive the reminder email.
This creates confusion.
If we could configure the check to be done at 16:10 or ideally 6:13 and the email runs automatically at 16:15, it would reduce the number of unnecessary emails being sent.
By leaving this set to check at 16:00 people could potentially see the email as white noise and ignore it, when they may have completed their timecard, clicked on Review and Submit, but missed the final Submit button - this happens every week.
We'd really prefer emails to be purposeful rather than pointless.
