When people enter their timecard in HR portal, if their hourly rate was changed mid-week the hourly rate is then incorrect. As an example we changed an employees rate on 10/16/20, that was effective for the entire week 10/11-10/17.
This employee had already entered their time for 10/11-10/15 so that automatically had their rate at the "old rate".

I would like this to be looked at again. This suggestion was 4 years ago and it is still a very big issue.
This would be very helpful especially when annnual raises are entered. It takes some time to get the rates updated and employees must continue to enter their time. Also, one-off raises that are entered during the year are easily missed when doing prepayroll. For larger companies with a lot of employees, this is a problem.
