We consider 'Training' to be things like 1st Aid/CPR, Competent Person, Confined Spaces and such, and 'Skills' to be welding, stair framing, rigging and other qualities or knowledge a person has. Vista has a field for Expiration Date for Skills in HRRS, but not for Training in HRET. But they do have a 'Certification Period' in months in the HR Code Master which can be used to calculate the expiration date for reports and inquiries.
In your kDynamicHRET you are setting the KDSExpirationDate to NULL. Please change this to calculate the Expiration Date if a training code has a certification period in HRCM, or NULL if there is not.

Mark - No I had not spotted that setting. I tested that and it does show up in the portal. Unfortunately, doing the Update process in HR Training Classes won't populate that ud field in HR Resource Training, so it will have to be entered for each person. Using the certification period from HR Code Master could calculate the date based on the Date Completed, which is what I have done in an inquiry I created in Vista. I can see that there could be a problem with a certification period that is not measured in months, but most seem to fit that.
Hi John,
Are you currently using the "UD Field name to pull Expiration Date for Training Classes from HR Resource Training" portal setting to track the training expiration dates?
Thanks!
