My supers are getting freaked out thinking it is an issue.

Yes, to Mark Cadmans question below.
I think that this is a technical issue and the idea of warning the employee that they cannot enter against this time batch again is coming into the process too early.
If they submit a timecard properly then show them "Timecard Submitted".
If they go back into the timecard after it has been submitted or approved then show the warning that this has already been summitted or approved.
I agree, the current message is confusing and got a lot of our users in a panic.
It would be good if wording could be updated to something simple and clear, showing that this is a notice not an error.
Or give us the ability to turn the notice off?
I think that would help, yes.
Hi Cynthia,
If we showed a larger "Successfully submitted timecard" message, do you think that would make this less confusing for your employees?
Thanks for the quick response. It should only show up when they reload the grid or perhaps reword the message so that it doesn't seem as if their submission did not go through.
Hi Cynthia,
We just changed the way this alert message behaves in order to make it more clear to users when/why the employees on their timecard can't be selected to add additional time to. Would you prefer this message only show up when reloading the grid timecard page?
Thanks!
