You can disable employee self review in the portal settings now but that is for all employees. When we have new hires we want managers to do 30-60-90 day reviews but not the employee, but during annual reviews we want both manager and employee to do the reviews. If not a setting change in the portal than possibly in the HR Module employee programs.

We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. This is now available in our web portal release 21.10 :)
Which Release has it Shipped in?
We completely agree, this would be a very helpful feature!
Thanks Mark. Hopefully the first fix can be done in the Review Template so we can vary whether an employee does a self review or not since we do different types of reviews for new employees (only managers for 30-60-90 days reviews) and a full review with employee and manager yearly.
Companies that have a large employee base will have difficulty maintaining and using the Performance Review templates in the Portal (vs the HR Resource Review program) since it takes three setups for each combination of approvals.
Hi Paul,
I'll bring this suggestion into our next review meeting with our development to see if it's something we can add to our future roadmap.
Thanks!
Mark, as a start if the Performance Review Template(s) had an option to disable employee self review that could work. However, a long run approach would be to get rid of the multiple Employee Groups that have to be setup in conjunction with the Performance Review Templates (this includes 3 employee groups per template). We have almost 1,100 employees and the next time we do our annual reviews it will be mind boggling to go back and review each and every approval group of who is in it, are they still employed, are the managers the same or different, etc, etc. Now that Viewpoint owns Keystyle the opportunity exist to maintain all of the Performance Review assignments directly in the HR Resource Review program with very little modification. This would eliminate the difficult and time consuming setup via the portal. Keystyle had to come up with the process because they did not own Viewpoint modules, but now it is one owner. The HR Resource Review program is where the scores and other review info ends up anyway.
Hi Paul,
Do you think this could be based on the Performance Review template instead of by employee?
Thanks!
