in Expenses, (not credit cards) there is no control/audit to warn of duplicate transactions. We have several instances of paying an employee more than once for the same receipt. Suggest the following: 1 - a warning to the employee at New Expense Item when saving that "a duplicate Date&Dollar combination already exists" and allow save regardless. 2 - at expense approval, a warning that a duplicate Date&Dollar combination may exist, and a link to the already approved transaction. Approvers need to verify duplicates and confirm/reject payments

This is a wonderful idea but we would additionally like the warning to also appear on the AP expense posting dashboard as well. It is possible that when not paying attention, both the employee and the approver may advance a duplicate so we would want these also flagged for AP users so they can tripple check.
