Keying items that have a code of two characters or less does not work when using large dataset lookups. Example, Inventory Material is "UD", "On-road diesel" and is displayed as "UD - On road diesel" but cannot be found by typing "UD..." because of the concatenation and three-character match minimum. This could be rectified by allowing multiple values for matching (2, 3, 4, etc) or by searching against the concatenated string.

Hi Jason,
Large Dataset lookups should work as long as 3 characters of any part of the concatenated string is used and should also work if the whole value is typed in correctly. Do you have any examples where the large dataset lookup isn't working as expected?
If so, these are bugs and should be submitted to our support team.
Thanks!
Hey Mark,
Thanks for the response. Yes, it is possible to search for the item by typing "roa" for example. However, I would consider it a bug that you can physically type the item as it is displayed, e.g., "UD - On road diesel" and get "No Results" because of the concatenation logic or whatever. What do you think?
Jason
Hi Jason,
Is it possible to have your users search by other values or the 3 character minimum? The Large Dataset option increases speed performance by limiting the values that need to be pulled. If we change the search to 2 character minimum, it would cause performance issues to all of our customers.
Thanks for adding!
