Currently, Vacation Cash Out is only available for the current pay period, based on the day requested. For example, if I request a Cash Out on Monday, July 27 that day is in the August 2 pay period and will not be paid to me until 8/7.
Many of our employees are only on the system on Mondays, and would like to have a Cash Out be paid on the next pay day (4 days from Monday). So that would be the previous pay period that ended on Sunday, but is still open for processing.
If the Cash Out used all open pay periods instead of the current one by the calendar day, our employees could then plan better for their Cash Out.

The current functionality of this Cash Out Option does not work for our pay periods. Example, we pay weekly, today we opened the pay period for week ending 12/24/22. Because 12/24/22 is in the past, this system does not allow for the employee to submit a Cash Out request for the period we are currently paying. In our case, the Cash Out Option needs to allow for the WEEK ENDING Period of the Current Payroll. JT
