Field Ticket Unsubmittal

When a foreman submits a field ticket for approval by PM and the PM has to unsubmit to make changes and then resubmits the 'Submitted On' and 'Submitted By' changes to the PM on the Field Ticket Dashboard when he submits and hits approve. We would like to see the 'Submitted On' and 'Submitted By' fields not change from the original person that submitted the ticket. Also, if the signature is there for the foreman we would like it not to be removed.

    Good morning Mark,

I submitted a case, it is Case # 30510097. I know this is addressed to Kevin but I thought I would chime in as well. Ideally I think you allow every section to be editable by the approver so that way the approver can make changes to everything without having to unsubmit the ticket. I dont know how everyone else's field tickets are but there are times when we are changing every section depending on how thorough the employee submitting it is. It is a constant problem we are always trying to get better at but a battle that may not completely go away.

    Hi Shea,

This sounds like a bug with that setting. Can you submit a case for our support team?

    Kevin,

What other fields or sections should Field Ticket approvers be able to update without unsubmitting?

    Thanks!

I too would like this to be possible. I do not use PR or PREQ on my field ticket, but I need to adjust the material use entries to accommodate incorrect material IDs or incorrect locations.

    Good Afternoon Mark,

We have the setting enabled but the approver on the project is unable to edit anything within PR or PREQ without unsubmitting. We have checked it with numerous approvers.

    Hi Shea,

If you are currently using that setting, why are your PM's unsubmitting the Field Tickets if they can edit that information already?

    Thanks!

    Good Morning Mark,

Normally it is just the PR and PREQ sections. We do have the setting you mentioned enable.

    Hi Shea,

What information on your Field Tickets normally needs to be edited? If your PM's just need to edit the equipment or payroll information, you can configure your portal settings to allow for this. Do you have the "Employee and Equipment Sections on the Field Ticket will always be editable " portal setting enabled?

    Thanks!
