An option clearly marked "Home Page" should be added to the menu to return users to the Welcome Page. Right now, we can click on the Company Logo/Employee Portal text and it does return us to the Home Page; however; I don't think it is clear to the end user to do so. Perhaps just adding "Home Page" to "Employee Portal" would be a better option.

I actually stumbled across this feature the other day and changed it. Within portal settings go to 'Administration / Initial Setup' tab and there is a row called 'Portal Heading in top navigation bar' as default it is set as 'Employee Portal' just type whatever you want and it will show up.
