All of our equipment categories have default phase codes assigned within the EM usage templates in Vista. That said, we would like site personnel to have the ability to include different/specific phase codes when making the transfer request. Given the complexity of the back end logic in Vista that determines which phase code to use (based on job templates assigned, category or equipment overrides etc) we really don't care if the transfer process makes the necessary back end adjustments (though it would be amazing) - at least we would love to have a phase code lookup that can be configured to specific cost types and active project phases that the site team could lookup and select - even if it simply populate a note field - very similar to the phase code lookup in the PO quick create process. At least that would give us phase code validation to only select phases with our equipment cost type enabled to help reduce month end batch posting errors.
