We had a PR batch completely disappear from the system, no record of anyone doing anything to it. This was after 100 employees entered their time AND had manager approval. Viewpoint is now asking us to pay $800 to have the safety net, JUST IN CASE this might happen again. Why should I pay that money when your system deleted my batch. This should be a standard feature.

Hi Caroline,
The Web Portal will never delete or close a batch. The Safety Net is a wonderful customization that allows Timecard Admins to restore any lines that were ever removed from a PR Timecard Entry batch. I'll look into the work required to make this standard, but I know it will take a very long time. In the meantime, I think the value of the Safety Net is worth the cost in for the benefits.
Thanks!
